Project Mindfully Outdoors
Welcome to Project Mindfully Outdoors, where the transformative power of nature meets mindful exploration. Founded and hosted by Mike Martin, our podcast serves as a daily compass for those seeking personal growth, healing, and a deeper connection with the natural world. At Project Mindfully Outdoors, we believe that the path to self-discovery often leads through the wilderness. Through carefully crafted episodes, we combine storytelling, guided practices, and wilderness meditation techniques to help our listeners navigate life’s challenging trails with greater awareness and purpose. Our journey began with a simple yet profound understanding: nature holds the key to unlocking our inner potential. Mike Martin, drawing from his extensive experience and personal transformation, shares authentic stories and practical wisdom that bridge the gap between modern living and natural healing. Each episode is thoughtfully designed to provide listeners with actionable tools and insights that can be applied to their daily lives. What sets us apart is our unique approach to personal development. We don’t just talk about nature’s healing power – we guide you through experiential practices that demonstrate it. From mindful hiking techniques to meditation in natural settings, our content empowers listeners to forge their own path toward wellness and self-discovery. Our community consists of individuals from all walks of life who share a common desire to rewrite their life stories through the lens of nature-connected mindfulness. Bob's life has been fascinating. He is a successful criminal trial lawyer, meditation teacher, professor, and Mindfulness Coordinator at Elon University. He studied under Hua Ching Ni, a 72nd-generation master from the Shaolin Temple, and is married to a Bible literalist. His book began as a bridge for him and his wife to explore the nature of the universe and has evolved into a source of healing for many, casting the teachings of Jesus in a wider, interfaith context.
